Xactus announces partnerships for income, employment verification efforts

Xactus, a fintech company specializing in mortgage verification solutions, has announced three new integrations designed to enhance its Intelligent Verification Platform, Xactus360. The partnerships with Thomas & Co., Argyle and Plaid aim to expand lender access to real-time income, employment and asset data through a unified system.

The integration of Peek Verify from Thomas & Co. introduces early-stage visibility into employment and wage data, allowing lenders to see whether records are available before initiating a full verification.

The feature is intended to help lenders reduce costs and improve turnaround times, the companies said.

“Peek Verify adds another layer of intelligence to the Xactus360 platform,” said Shelley Leonard, president of Xactus. “By combining our technology and workflow automation with Thomas & Company’s expansive data network, we’re enabling lenders to preview record availability upfront, which supports smarter, faster and more cost-efficient loan decisions.”

Thomas & Co. CEO Nate Kenney said the collaboration reflects “a shared commitment to innovation, transparency and client success,” adding that Peek Verify “represents a new standard in data accessibility and cost control.”

Xactus also announced a partnership with Argyle, a provider of consumer-permissioned asset, employment and income verification services. The integration allows lenders to verify a borrower’s information directly from payroll providers through a secure login.

“Our goal has always been to give lenders flexibility, choice, and control,” said Tom Gallucci, executive vice president of strategic sales at Xactus. “By adding Argyle’s market-leading verifications to Xactus360, we are expanding how and when lenders can verify and validate, delivering another way to access trusted data that improves accuracy and reduces cost.”

Sasha Stair, chief marketing officer at Xactus, said each new integration “strengthens the story of what Intelligent Verification means in practice,” noting that Argyle’s inclusion “further reinforces Xactus as the partner lenders can count on to innovate continuously.”

The company’s collaboration with Plaid, a financial data network, will integrate Plaid’s Verification of Assets (VOA) solution into Xactus360. The feature provides lenders with access to consumer-permissioned bank account data, including categorized inflows, balances and income.

“Plaid is one of the most recognized and trusted fintech platforms in the world, and their verification technology is already used by one in two Americans with bank accounts,” said Thomas Lloyd, chief strategy officer at Xactus. “By bringing Plaid’s VOA solution into Xactus360, we are giving lenders another powerful option within our Intelligent Verification Platform that makes verification faster, simpler and smarter for both lenders and consumers.”

Jonathan Gurwitz, credit partnerships lead at Plaid, said the collaboration will help “make single source data for digital verification more widely accessible to mortgage lenders,” allowing them to “instantly verify assets to improve operating efficiency, enhance the borrower experience and ultimately, close loans faster.”

Mike Brown, chief product officer at Xactus, said the partnership “represents another important step in that journey, helping lenders reduce cycle times and costs while meeting GSE eligibility requirements.”
