Updated: We last updated our Demonfall breathing styles tier list on October 6th, 2025.

Breathing styles in Demonfall define your playstyle as a slayer. You can spec into only one breathing style at a time, and each one has hefty unlock requirements. So, to help you pick the right style to grind for and not waste valuable resources in the process, we prepared the following Demonfall breathing styles tier list.

Tiers Explained

S-tier: Breathing styles that are amazing in PvP and very difficult to deal with.

A-tier: Versatile breathing styles that are good for both PvE and PvP.

B-tier: Situational breathing styles that have some potential.

C-tier: Weak styles that are bad both at PvP and PvE.

In the tier list above, we ranked all breathing styles in Demonfall based on their viability in both PvE and PvP, overall damage, combo potential, survivability, and ease of play. With that in mind, Sun, Moon, and Stone are the best breathing styles to go for in the late game, as you will have to reach Prestige 8/9 to max out some of them. A-tier styles, such as Water and Flame, are great overall picks, but they can be a bit more challenging to utilize.

How to Get Breathing Styles in Demonfall

Every breathing style in Demonfall is unlocked by interacting with a specific trainer NPC and completing the quest given by them. Moon breathing style also requires you to be a human/demon hybrid, which is achievable by interacting with the same trainer NPC. If you want to replace your current breathing style, you first have to drink the Breath Indict potion, which resets your skill trees and removes your breathing style. Breath Indict potion can be obtained from the Black Merchant NPC, Robux Shop, and by redeeming codes.

That concludes our Demonfall breathing style tier list. Let us know which breathing style you think is the best and why in the comment section below. For more of our Roblox guides, check out the Roblox hub here on Destructoid.
