What did the Royal Envoy do in The Sims 4?
Throughout the event, you uncover the truth, which is that the Royal Envoy has been trying to steal from the royal families to pawn off their treasures for money. When you confront her to let her know you’ve learned of her master plan, she’ll ask you to forgive her and let it go, promising to stop now that she’s been caught. You’re then given the choice to either forgive her or report her for her crimes.
What happens if you forgive the Royal Envoy in The Sims 4?
If you choose to forgive the Royal Envoy, she will be very grateful for your choice, and the end event text will display a thankful message from her. Your relationship with her remains unchanged with this choice. Here’s the full message you get for forgiving her.
“Marina, the Envoy, sighs with relief and smiles as they say, ‘Thank you so much, [Your Sim’s Name], for not turning me in. I saw an opportunity and got carried away. Do everyone a favor and look after those treasures. I might pay them a surprise visit one day.’ With that, Marina leaves for now.
What happens if you don’t forgive the Royal Envoy in The Sims 4?
If you choose to report the Royal Envoy, she will be upset at your decision, and the end event text will display a lengthy statement of revenge and anger from her. This won’t affect your relationship with her at all, though, and although she pledges revenge in the future, she won’t actually come back to do anything. Here’s her full statement if you choose not to forgive her.
“Marina, the Envoy, looks in disbelief as [Your Sim’s Name] recounts all the deceit, nefarious plans, and how it will be reported to the royal families. In response, Marina shouts, ‘[Your Sim’s Name], know that I will remember this moment for all eternity. Take advantage while you can; I will have my revenge one day!’ With that, Marina leaves for now, and with all of their plans foiled…”
Forgive the Royal Envoy or not in The Sims 4
There are no real consequences or differences for choosing to forgive the Royal Envoy or not, so which option is best to choose ultimately just comes down to your own personal preferences. All event rewards remain the same regardless, with the only difference being the end event text you see. Even your relationship with the Royal Envoy stays the same no matter what, so the difference between the two is simply a few lines of text that don’t actually affect anything.
