ARC Raiders has a highly flexible skill tree system that allows you to develop fluid builds.
There’s no fixed or rigid class-based system. Instead, you have to invest your skill points in three different branches. You can’t unlock every node on the skill tree, which makes it essential for you to pay attention to how you’re investing the points.
With enemy players to take down and ARC enemies on your heels, it’s vital to go for a meta build.

ARC Raiders best builds
Every build in ARC Raiders has different strengths and weaknesses. Your priority should be towards using a build that suits your playstyle and requirements, but certain skills are too good to be left out. Keeping these factors in mind, here are some builds you can use.
Combat Specialist
With human and AI opponents to take down, investing a bulk of your points in combat is always a good choice. This build focuses on empowering your fighting potential, while also making you mobile in the heat of a battle.
Here’s how I have invested the points.
| Conditioning | Mobility | Survival |
|---|---|---|
| Used to the Weight 5 | Nimble Climber 1 | Agile Croucher 1 |
| Blast-Born 2 | Marathon Runner 4 | Revitalizing Squat 5 |
| Flight or Fight 5 | Youthful Lungs 5 | In-Round Crafting 1 |
| Survivor’s Stamina 1 | Slip and Slide 4 | Looter’s Instinct 1 |
| Downed but Determined 3 | Sturdy Ankles 1 | Silent Scavenger 1 |
| Tutle Crawl 2 | Carry the Momentum 1 | N/A |
| Back on Your Feet 1 | Calming Stroll 1 | N/A |
| A Little Extra 1 | Effortless Roll 3 | N/A |
| Loaded Arms 1 | HHeroic Leap 3 | N/A |
| Gentle Pressure 5 | Crawl Before You Walk 3 | N/A |
| Proficient Pryer 5 | Vigorous Vaulter 1 | N/A |
| Unburned Roll 1 | Off The Wall 1 | N/A |
| Effortless Swing 2 | N/A | N/A |
| Sky-Clearing Swing 3 | N/A | N/A |
| Flyswatter 1 | N/A | N/A |
The primary focus of the build is towards Back on Your Feet and Flyswatter. While Back on Your Feet and all the skills on that path allow you to recover better, Flyswatter allows you to single-hit ARC drones. The latter is beneficial to save bullets and quickly finish drone enemies.
Points have also been invested in Mobility nodes like Marathon Runner and Youthful Lungs for better stamina management (that works well with the melee-focused nature of this build). I have also made a few investments in the Survival nodes to ensure you can still loot quite safely.
Resource Rat
If your goal is to get as many resources as possible from the wasteland, this will be a fun and peculiar build for you to enjoy. The build relies heavily on Survival, where I have invested 51 of 75 skill points. The build revolves around Minesweeper and Security Breach skill nodes. The latter allows you to access Security Lockers. Here’s how I have invested the points.
| Conditioning | Mobility | Survival |
|---|---|---|
| Used to the Weight 1 | Nimble Climber 2 | Agile Croucher 5 |
| Gentle pressure 1 | Marathon Runner 5 | Looter’s Instinct 5 |
| Proficient Pryer 5 | Youthful Lungs 5 | Silent Scavenger 5 |
| N/A | Slip and Slide 2 | Suffer in Silence 1 |
| N/A | Sturdy Ankles 1 | Broad Shoulders 5 |
| N/A | Carry the Momentum 1 | Looter’s Luck 1 |
| N/A | Calming Stroll 1 | Security Breach 1 |
| N/A | N/A | Revitalizing Squat 5 |
| N/A | N/A | In-Round Crafting 1 |
| N/A | N/A | Good as New 1 |
| N/A | N/A | Traveling Tinkerer 1 |
| N/A | N/A | One Raider’s Scrap 1 |
| N/A | N/A | Stubborn Mule 5 |
| N/A | N/A | Three Deep Breaths 5 |
| N/A | N/A | Minesweeper 1 |
I have also opted for full investment in both Marathon Runners and Iron Lungs since you’re going to require the additional stamina. Since you aim to loot as much as possible, having full investment in Proficient Pryer reduces the time taken to open and get more items.
The Solo King (or Queen)
If you’re playing ARC Raiders all by your own, you’ll have to pay the most amount of attention to your build. I have opted for a setup that excels in all three departments (as you have to do it all on your own).
Note: The build is in work.
Here’s how I have distributed the points.
| Conitioning | Mobility | Survival |
|---|---|---|
| Used to the Weight 1 | Nmble Climber 1 | AAgile Croucher 3 |
| Gentle Pressure 1 | Marathon Runner 5 | Revitalizing Squat 5 |
| Proficient Pryer 5 | Youthful Lungs 4 | In-Round Crafting 1 |
| N/A | Slip and Slide: 3 | Looter’s Instinct 1 |
| N/A | Sturdy Ankles: 1 | Silent Scavenger 5 |
| N/A | Calming Stroll: 1 | Suffer in Silence 1 |
| N/A | Carry the Momentum: 1 | Traveling Tinkerer 1 |
| N/A | N/A | Broad Shoulders 4 |
| N/A | N/A | Looter’s Luck 4 |
| N/A | N/A | Good as New 1 |
The aim here is to have as many active basic nodes as possible, but with an emphasis on Survival and Mobility. With this build, you can also opt for only one final node, and that should be towards Security Breach.
While the build isn’t as specialized as the other two options above, it removes any limitation that you might have. I will be updating a complete build for this one once I have finished experimenting with the more advanced nodes.
