With the Destination Deals flash sale, IHG members can save 30% off the Best Flexible Rate at participating properties in Europe, East Asia and the Pacific, India, the Middle East, Africa and Greater China.
Members can also score discounts of 25% or 30% in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, depending on the brand. The sale is offering 25% off select properties in IHG's Essential and Suites brands (Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn, Garner, Avid, Atwell Suites, Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites) or 30% off participating properties across IHG's Luxury, Lifestyle and Premium portfolios (Regent, InterContinental, Vignette Collection, Kimpton, Hotel Indigo, Voco, Even and Crowne Plaza).
You must book at least three days in advance, and there is a minimum stay of one night. Additionally, you'll need to book your stay directly to take advantage of the sale.
Sample bookings
For instance, you can beat the cold with a sunny escape to the Regent Santa Monica Beach, pictured at the top of this article. One-night stays on Friday, Nov. 15, start at $895 with this flash sale, versus $1,240 for the nonmember Best Flexible Rate.
Looking for something a little farther flung? Member flash sale rates for a one-night stay at the InterContinental Osaka on Friday, Dec. 12, start at $463 (instead of $662 for the nonmember Best Flexible Rate).
Maximize your purchase
If you choose to take advantage of this deal, be sure to maximize your rewards by paying with one of the best credit cards for IHG stays.
There are other ways to boost your IHG points balance, too.
For instance, if you book more than one IHG stay, you can stack this deal with IHG's fall bonus points promotion. Make sure to register to earn double points on your second stay and triple points on your third stay and beyond, up to 70,000 bonus points total.
And if you haven't yet used the IHG app, you can earn an easy 500 bonus points simply by downloading it and signing in to your account by Dec. 31.
Bottom line
This flash sale won't be around for long; you have until Nov. 2 to book your stay(s) at a participating IHG property. Since this sale is only for members, you'll need to join IHG One Rewards and add your member number to your booking.
