Sabrina Carpenter’s net worth: The pop star’s wealth at 26

Sabrina Carpenter’s genius lies in the fact that she doesn’t take herself too seriously. Masterful at crafting catchy pop tunes and humorous lyrics with plenty of double entendres, the playful, over-the-top singer has gained millions of fans and social media followers, enabling her to transition from Disney Channel princess into pop superstar.

All that success didn’t just happen overnight, though. The pint-sized provocateur has been working since age 11 and made her breakthrough on the Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World” back in 2014. She amassed a lengthy resume of screen credits, including starring in the critically acclaimed film The Hate U Give (2018), and made her Broadway debut as Cady Heron in the 2020 production of “Mean Girls.”

But above all, her music. The 5’0″ singer’s introspective approach to songwriting adeptly showcases her dual ability to portray vulnerability and self-empowerment, which not only makes her relatable but also aspirational.

However, it wasn’t until her Disney contract ended that Carpenter discovered her true artistic voice, notably with the release of her 2022 album, “Emails I Can’t Send.” This, along with her subsequent album, 2024’s blockbuster “Short n’ Sweet,” revealed a more unfiltered image of the pop diva that increasingly pushed boundaries with its sexually charged content.

As a result, Carpenter’s popularity skyrocketed, particularly on social media, where outtakes from her performances went viral, and she hit new Spotify streaming records as well as earned Grammys for Pop Vocal Album and Pop Solo Performance in 2025.

With the August 29, 2025, release of her newest album “Man’s Best Friend,” Carpenter continues to define her place in the pop zeitgeist as one of the most self-assured voices of her generation—all while stirring up controversy like only she can.

So, what’s Sabrina Carpenter’s net worth in 2025 following the release of her latest album?

Why is Sabrina Carpenter in the news?

Carpenter embarked on a strategic promotional campaign for “Man’s Best Friend” that began with the release of the Billboard-topping single “Manchild” on June 5, 2025. The video for the track features Carpenter’s humorous hijinks along with plenty of cute puppies, and Carpenter transferred the buzz over to social media with even more posts of her furry friends as well as snapshots from her exclusive listening parties, causing her name to trend on Google for weeks.

In addition, the album’s cover art, which depicted Carpenter on all fours, generated its own share of attention, especially from critics who considered it degrading to women. Carpenter’s response, telling the haters to “get out more,” kept her in the headlines, as well as her decision to issue an alternate album cover that she said was “approved by God.”

The album’s second single, “Tears,” released on August 29, 2025, also raised eyebrows—not only for its racy lyrics but also for its campy video featuring Colman Domingo dancing in drag in a nod to the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Heckled by an X user, Domingo took to the platform to shut down the criticism, in similar fashion to Carpenter, by telling the commenter to simply “Calm down brother.”

What’s Sabrina Carpenter’s net worth in 2025?

According to most sources, including Celebrity Net Worth, Sabrina Carpenter has an estimated net worth of $16 million in 2025. This includes proceeds from her seven studio albums and five concert tours, her acting gigs, as well as her celebrity endorsements and real estate holdings.

Carpenter’s hit, “Espresso,” was Billboard’s #1 Global Song of the Summer in 2024, which alone translated into millions.

In addition to her 76 sold-out performances as part of the 2024 “Short n’ Sweet Tour,” Carpenter also performed as the opening act during the Latin American, Australian, and Singaporean legs of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which is known as the most popular concert tour in history, grossing more than $2 billion—and no doubt further adding to Carpenter’s bottom line.

The two kept in touch through the years, often meeting at awards shows, and Carpenter frequently gushed about the gifts she received from Swift on her Instagram Stories.

The feeling was mutual: When Swift announced that Carpenter would be part of her Eras tour, she called Carpenter a “sweet angel princess.”

Carpenter was even spotted at an NFL game with Swift as she cheered along her now-fiancé, Travis Kelce, when the Kansas City Chiefs took on the New York Jets in October 2023.

Swift also revealed that her eagerly anticipated new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” will feature Carpenter on its title track when it’s released on October 3, 2025.

When did Sabrina Carpenter make her debut?

Sabrina Annlyn Carpenter was born on May 11, 1999, in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Her mother, Elizabeth Carpenter, is a former dancer and chiropractor, while her father, David Carpenter, is a musician who built the singer’s first recording studio. Although her parents remain together, when Sabrina was young, David had an extramarital affair, which the singer called out in her 2022 song “Emails I Can’t Send.”

Carpenter has three older sisters: Sarah, Shannon, and Cayla, and all remain close.

Carpenter was homeschooled and began taking voice lessons at age 6. She can also dance and play piano, guitar, drums, bass guitar, and ukulele.

She first gained notice in 2008 through the online singing contest “The Miley Cyrus Project,” where she placed third out of more than 7,000 entrants.

In 2011, Carpenter appeared in her first TV role, in a small part on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” and other roles soon followed.

Notably, Carpenter had a recurring role as Princess Vivian on Disney’s “Sophia the First” from 2013–2018, and in 2013, she was also cast in the Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets World.”

Sabrina Carpenter’s discography

  • “Eyes Wide Open” (2015), a teen folk/pop album which peaked at #43 on the Billboard 200, contained the single “We’ll Be the Stars.”
  • “Evolution” (2018), Carpenter’s second effort under Disney’s Hollywood Records label, featured more mature production themes and made it to #28 on the Billboard 200. It helped to establish her as a rising teen star
  • “Singular: Act 1” (2018) and “Singular: Act 2” (2019) featured a stronger creative direction for Carpenter and included tracks like “Almost Love” and “In My Bed.”
  • Carpenter’s song “Skin,” which was released in 2021, was not included on any of her albums but is noteworthy because it became her first entry on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, peaking at #48. The song is rumored to be her response to Olivia Rodrigo’s “Driver’s License,” which mentioned a “blonde girl” that made her “insecure.” Both Carpenter and Rodrigo had dated Joshua Bassett, who starred in the “High School Musical: The Series” from 2019–2020.
  • Between albums, Carpenter had signed with a new label, Island Records, which she told Billboard had contributed to a new sense of freedom as an artist. Her resultant album, “Emails I Can’t Send” (2022), peaked at #23 on the Billboard 200, while Carpenter’s performance outros for the track “Nonsense” grew more sexual in nature and helped earn the rising star even more buzz.
  • Coincidentally, Carpenter’s video for “Feather,” another song from her 2022 album, helped to shed light on the financial mismanagement in the administration of New York City Mayor Eric Adams and eventually led to his indictment.
  • “Short n’ Sweet” (2024), produced by Jack Antonoff, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, and all of its tracks cracked the Top 50. “Espresso” surpassed one billion streams on Spotify and also broke the record for most-streamed pop album on Amazon Music.

Is Sabrina Carpenter a Nepo baby?

Some people consider Carpenter to be a “Nepo baby” because she is the niece of Nancy Cartwright, the voice of Bart Simpson on “The Simpsons.” (Carpenter’s father, David, is Cartwright’s step-brother.)

However, Carpenter has no relation to the 1970s sibling singing duo The Carpenters, Richard and Karen Carpenter.

Sabrina Carpenter’s real estate portfolio

According to Architectural Digest, when Carpenter finished filming “Girl Meets World,” she rewarded herself with her first real estate purchase, paying $1.7 million for a five-bedroom, five-bathroom home in Northridge, California. The property was featured in a British Vogue video and made all Carpenters (a nickname for Sabrina’s fans), want to install a swing in their bedrooms.

Carpenter sold the property for $2.3 million in 2024.

In 2021, Carpenter began spending more time in New York City and rented an Airbnb in the Financial District so she could write her forthcoming album “Emails I Can’t Send.” She’s rumored to still be renting this property today.

In 2023, she shelled out $4.4 million for a bigger pad in L.A.—a Spanish Colonial mansion set in the Hollywood Hills that features canyon and city views. According to designer Francesca Grace, it’s filled with pink accents and lots of floral wallpaper.

We’d wager there’s also an espresso machine.
