Jupiter In Leo Is Here — But Don’t Fly Too Close To The Sun

Illustration of Jupiter.

Now that the prosperous planet Jupiter is entering Leo on June 30th, the theatrics will be immense until the cycle ends on July 26th, 2027 — so we have plenty of time to play the game.

Jupiter has a near-12-year orbit, landing on the former dates: August 18th, 1990, to September 12th, 1991; August 1st, 2002, to August 27th, 2003; July 16th, 2014, to August 11th, 2015; and so on. Looking back at the plots from these timelines can be beneficial in sussing out and understanding what is coming. Granted, every transit is peppered with different vibes, but the overall theme remains the same.

Jupiter in Leo motivates us to take a leap of faith and believe in our visions. We are our best cheerleaders, motivating ourselves to be the top cat, creatives, and have an enthusiastic approach to life. Our emotions are big and filled with generosity. The caveat is that Jupiter’s shadow in Leo can make us egotistical and arrogant. We’ll be feeling ourselves, but at a massive level. As a result, our hubris makes us feel we can achieve and conquer anything and everything — but don’t fly too close to the sun.

Several dates vastly impact this celestial trance. When Jupiter in Leo opposes Pluto retrograde in Aquarius on July 20th, power dynamics surface and pop. We may try to dominate others, or vice versa, creating extreme frustrations. Also, we are going to triangulate relationships by involving people to avoid direct conflict. Ultimately, this is an unhealthy way to deal with others because it shows that the partnership or friendship is lacking. Rather than confront the issues, the unhappy person chooses to cope through gossip, manipulation, avoidance, and emotional or physical affairs.

Jupiter and Neptune in Aries harmonize on July 20th, heightening our expectations for love and magnifying our passions. Fairy tales can come true if we believe in the story. It’ll be four more years until they train each other again. Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Gemini come into contact on July 21st, uniting the desire for expansion with societal changes. This is a moment when we can shift the paradigm. The next time these two are in sextile to each other will be in June 2035. Fortunately, the sun and Jupiter’s interwoven influence on July 29th gets us out of these sticky situations and glows up our auras.

Jupiter in Leo and Saturn in Aries come together on August 31st, April 3, 2027, and July 11th, 2027, forcing us to find a middle ground. Instead of being too austere or happy-go-lucky, we’ll marry Saturn’s need for structure with Jupiter’s joie de vivre mentality. Blending the two juxtaposed elements creates the perfect balance between the two intense sentiments.

Jupiter in Leo links up with the South Node of Destiny on November 12th, February 22nd, 2027, and April 23rd, 2027. Contrary to what many might think, this is a time of luck. The South Node encourages us to revisit the past, while Jupiter offers us wisdom about our behavior or situations. The alliance urges us to learn from our mistakes and watch for red flags when they recur. If we listen to our intuition and allow old habits to die hard, we can thrive without the ramifications of former matters. The universe has our back and won’t let us fall.

Mars and Jupiter form a conjunction in Leo on November 16th, close to the South Node, pushing us to take charge. Even if we falter, we will still try our best to succeed. Watch out for arguments with those who put a damper on our plans; the problems can intensify quickly. It would be remiss not to mention Mars’s backward spin in 2027 because the planetary moonwalk gets close to Jupiter retrograde, when it turns direct on April 1st, 2027. This aspect requires us to seek validation from ourselves and not from others. Both are moving along the South Node in March 2027, making us feel temperamental and low-energy.

Jupiter retrograde in Leo, which lasts from December 12th to April 12th, 2027, offers a moment of reflection. Think about how you want to do good for earth and those who inhabit the planet. Remember, Jupiter in Leo wants to be a superstar; however, the lion roars in a friendly, gentle way to assist others. The lesson is to lead with the heart and love.
