Black Friday is now an increasingly digital experience that has morphed into a weekend-long shopping period, culminating in Travel Tuesday and in some cases lasting even longer.
Companies selling travel don’t miss the opportunity to capitalize on the increased number of deal-seekers by slashing prices on some of their services.
For those looking to book a vacation holiday to a sunny destination, Expedia and its accommodation brands Hotels.com and VRBO are offering discounts of up to 50% on select hotel and short-term rental stays booked by Dec. 2.
Participating hotels include Nobu Miami Beach, The Drake Hotel in Toronto, and Marriott Vacation Club in Honolulu at select periods of the year.
Expedia.com, EF, JetBlue Vacations: Black Friday sales on vacation packages
For vacation packages, EF Education First is offering various discounts on its group tours to countries such as Peru, Thailand, Colombia, Italy, and Japan, among others. JetBlue Vacations, which combines flights on the New York-based airline with hotel and cruise bookings, is holding a sale offering travelers discounts of up to $150 on packages costing over $3,000, and $1,000 on anything over $10,000.
To take advantage, enter the promo code GOSEASON150, GOSEASON250, GOSEASON400, or GOSEASON1000 when processing the JetBlue Vacations booking. The sale runs until Dec. 5 and grants JetBlue loyalty program members double the points on any cruise.

On the airline front, Australia’s flag carrier Qantas Airways is giving its American customers a Black Friday promotion in which round-trip flights to Sydney and Brisbane from Los Angeles can be purchased for $834 until Dec. 3.
In addition, a flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Brisbane with a stopover in Sydney during select periods in 2025 and 2026 is available for $999. The sale was also launched to draw attention to the airline’s Brisbane routes among travelers who have already been to Sydney.

Qantas and La Compagnie hold sales on flights to other continents
“Several booking windows overlap with iconic Australian experiences [the Australian Open and Sydney Mardi Gras], making this sale the perfect opportunity for Americans to turn their dreams of a trip Down Under into a reality,” Qantas Executive Vice President of The Americas Ash Howell said in a statement on the Black Friday sale.

And for those looking to go to Europe, all-business-class airline La Compagnie is holding its own Black Friday promotion. Flights from Newark Liberty Airport to Paris and Milan can be nabbed for $2,400 round-trip, while its flight to Nice goes for $2,900.
Without the promotion, the same ticket can average over $3,500. Interested travelers need to act fast, as the sale ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on Nov. 28 for travel before May 31, 2026.
Bermuda flag carrier Bermudair is also offering up to 40% off on airfare to the tropical paradise from U.S. cities such as New York, Boston, Orlando, Richmond, and Raleigh-Durham, as well as flights to Anguilla from Newark, Boston, and Baltimore/Washington International Airport.
