A year on from when Odyssey released their first Square 2 Square putters they have now released the S2S Tri-Hot putters – recently spotted for the first time at the Sanderson Farms Championship at the beginning of October.
Odyssey has enhanced its “Zero Torque” technology to make setup and stroke more natural and confident. These putters feature a multi-material build that shifts the center of gravity (CG) far forward, allowing the shaft to enter the head on the topline. This design reduces the need to lean the shaft forward, making alignment easier.
Using aluminum, steel, and over 140 grams of tungsten, most of the weight sits behind the putter face for a smooth, consistent roll. The face has an AI-designed dual-layer insert, providing a soft feel and improved forward roll. Deeper, more aggressive grooves further enhance control.
The redesigned grip is a mid-sized pistol style, offering better feel and awareness. The black PVD shaft adds durability, and a Jailbird Cruiser option with a longer, heavier setup is available for customization. These putters are built to boost confidence and accuracy on every putt.

This is a very good putter. It’s as simple as that really. I think even the most sternest zero-torque deniers might be converted by this one. Odyssey has managed to blend traditional aesthetics with cutting-edge performance in a way that delivers a premium feel.
