10 Perfumes We’ll Be Wearing All Year, From Berry Gourmands To Vanilla Spice

As much as we love the idea of a signature scent, we do have a bone to pick with that school of thought. With so many incredible fragrances being launched at a nonstop pace, how could we possibly limit ourselves to one? And with a new year underway, we’re expanding our fragrance wardrobes accordingly.

From variations on a theme (like YSL’s new Libre Berry Crush and Marc Jacobs Daisy Murakami collection) to brand new chapters — Parfums de Marly’s Athenais and Prada’s Infusion de Santal Chai — the year is already off to a beautifully-scented start. (And to think, we’re just a month into 2026!) Ahead, scope out 10 brand new fragrance launches R29 editors are currently loving and wearing this January and beyond.

At Refinery29, we’re here to help you navigate this overwhelming world of stuff. All of our market picks are independently selected and curated by the editorial team. All product details reflect the price and availability at the time of publication. If you buy or click on something we link to on our site, Refinery29 may earn commission.

Burberry Her Parfum

Notes: Cherry, pear, amber, whipped cream

“I’m usually not a fan of sweeter scents — they can feel a bit sticky throughout the day — but, just like cherry creams, I have a feeling I won’t be able to get enough of this one. I tried it at a beauty event recently, and on first spritz, the cherry note is tart and fizzy. Thanks to a heavy helping of whipped cream and warm amber, it dries down to something comforting and intimate. I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrists, and that’s how I know I must have it.” — Jacqueline Kilikita, beauty director

Prada Infusion de Santal Chai

Notes: Cardamom, citrus, masala chai, milk, sandalwood

“Woody, spicy, and a little sweet — Prada has absolutely nailed it with Infusion de Santal Chai. Notes of sandalwood and citrus really lift the grounding, bold notes of chai tea accord, and the result is a perfume that I don’t think I’m going to get tired of anytime soon. It lingers all day long, and dries down to a cozy, woody scent that has a nostalgic feel to it. I’m especially loving it during the winter months — aka, the months where I’m most likely sipping a dirty chai — but I can’t wait to see how it wears in the warmer months, perhaps paired with a more fruit-forward fragrance.” — Karina Hoshikawa, Senior Beauty Writer

Rabanne Fame in Love Parfum Elixir

Notes: Strawberry, green mandarin, basil, jasmine, vanilla, mineral notes

“Whenever I wear Rabanne, I’m flooded with compliments. Seriously — One Million Gold Parfum is a total magnet for them. There’s something reassuring about having your taste validated, which is why I can’t wait to try Fame In Love. The hero note is strawberry: sweet but fresh, like sun-warmed berries picked straight from the vine, balanced with creamy, grown-up woods. And the bottle is just as fun as the scent.” — Jacqueline Kilikita, beauty director

Mugler Alien Pulp

Notes: Pink raspberry accord, citrus, jasmine, cashmeran wood

“Raspberry has the fragrance world in a chokehold right now — and I’m fully on board. Unlike other fruity notes that veer saccharine, raspberry brings a fresher, more tart edge, making sweeter fragrances feel genuinely wearable day to day. That’s exactly what it does in Mugler’s Alien Pulp, where it’s further softened by creamy jasmine and clean-skin musks. The result smells so different from the original Alien — and I think that’s the point!” — Jacqueline Kilikita, beauty director

D.S. & Durga Cowgirl Grass

Notes: Bergamot, lychee, jasmine water, vetiver, musk

“I don’t typically gravitate towards floral scents, but leave it to D.S. & Durga to dream up the cool-girl version of a garden-inspired scent. Cowgirl Grass (an olfactive companion to Cowboy Grass, one of the brand’s most popular fragrances) is a modern interpretation of the American West, told through perfume. I love the juxtaposition of sweet lychee and pink geranium with herbal vetiver and sensual musk. The result is feminine and sexy — not to mention, perfect for this recent Texas transplant entering her yee-haw era.” — Karina Hoshikawa, Senior Beauty Writer

YSL Libre Berry Crush

Notes: Raspberry, coconut, bourbon vanilla.

“Berry scents are having a moment in 2026, and it’s one I fully plan to ride all year long — starting with YSL’s new Libre Berry Crush. A fruit-forward take on the original Libre, the latest addition to the lineup, layers tangy raspberry and blackberry over the OG’s iconic base of orange blossom, lavender, and amber. Undertones of bourbon vanilla and coconut create a scent that’s cozy and warm enough to carry me through this year’s (historically cold, absolutely frigid) New York winter, but with a juicy brightness that reminds me of a perfectly mixed brunch cocktail — making it just as wearable once the temperatures (finally) rise. Versatile, sweet yet sultry, and housed in a gemstone-inspired bottle that resembles an encrusted jewel on my bureau: consider me officially crushing.” — Lia Tabackman, Social Editor

Phlur Afterglow

Notes: Apricot, coconut, vanilla orchid, milk, lavender, sandalwood

“Ever since Refinery29’s beauty director Jacqueline Kilikita introduced me to Phlur’s Missing Person perfume back in 2022, I’ve been a convert. The once-viral perfume is still my go-to in 2026. But recently, I’ve switched things up by trying out Phlur’s Father Figure deodorant stick. And guess what? I like it, too! So naturally, I’m drawn to getting my hands on Phlur’s Afterglow. With notes of apricot, coconut, vanilla orchid, and lavender, I know it won’t be a heavy, lingering scent, just like Missing Person. Instead, I’m willing to bet I find it comforting just like the brand’s other offerings.” — Susan Devaney, Lifestyle Director

Le Monde Gourmand Thé de Goyave Eau De Parfum

Notes: Guava, Plum, Bergamot, Lemon, Lily-of-the-Valley, Amber, Sandalwood

“I love a soft, flirty scent made for warm days. And that’s exactly what Le Monde Gourmand captures in Thé de Goyave Eau De Parfum, its latest collaboration with Mexican beauty creator Paloma Sanchez. Combining fruits and florals, it’s a bright, sweet, and fun perfume made for the spring and summer days ahead of us.” — Raquel Reichard, Somos Deputy Director

Givenchy Irresistible

Notes: Rose, blond wood, pistachio cream, pear

“First off, I love how cute and compact the 35ml bottle is — it slips neatly into my handbag for top-ups. But it’s the juice inside that really justifies the purchase. Fruity fragrances often skew juvenile, but this is a truly grown-up gourmand. Ripe, juicy pear is warmed by soft ambrette and rose, while cedar and blond woods are what really set it apart. They introduce a greener, slightly mineral depth, stopping the sweetness from becoming cloying and giving the scent real edge.” — Jacqueline Kilikita, beauty director

Marc Jacobs Daisy Murakami Yellow

Notes: Raspberry, strawberry, cedarwood

“I have a massive soft spot for the original Marc Jacobs Daisy (the first “grown up” fragrance I wore as a teen), and even decades later, it’s still a favorite of mine. So, you can only imagine my excitement when I spotted these Murakami-fied bottles in December at Sydney airport. My heart skipped a beat; not only were the floral caps reimagined as Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s signature pop flowers, but the scents themselves have been slightly altered to offer a new dimension within the Daisy cinematic universe. My favorite, unsurprisingly, is the one most closely inspired by the OG; the juicy notes of strawberry and raspberry perfectly melt with warm, sensual cedarwood, praline, and ambrox. This one is very limited-edition, so I almost don’t want to use it too often — but then I spray, fall in love, and repeat.” — Karina Hoshikawa, Senior Beauty Writer
